hey i just want everyone to know that these guys are awesome. its so refreshing to be able to have real conversations with real down to earth ppl just in case anyone is wondering i am a real ride or die hard core bitch now me personally, i dont follow any one particular path, and i dont think anyone is right or wrong. i believe that all the different religious paths are just different ways of interpreting the same thing after doing alot of acid i came to realize that the mind and your faith controls your reality so whatever you believe in is true. it doesnt matter what you have faith in, as long as you have faith

I once met Timothy Leary, he came to speak at my college, and I was on the Welcoming Committee, as well as the Audio/Visual support team.

It was actually quite sad...

... by this point he was a functional alcoholic; the place he was taken for lunch served no alcohol, so he kicked up a fuss, and had to be taken elsewhere, delaying his presentation...

...later, at the reception in the College Presidents' house I had the opportunity to speak with him; I don't remember any earth-shattering exchanges, but I do remember he chugged glassfulls of straight whiskey...

...a 'co-ed,' sitting on one of the kitchen counters, asked: "So, Tim, what was your best trip?"...

He looked down and examined his shoes for some time, then excused himself for bed...
