One of my favourite pizza kinds is the Fireball Pizza. I used ot make them in a bakery I worked in ~97 and its the only place I have ever come across them. I'm hoping to get a local bakery to make me a few as my kitchen is not exactly arrange for a lot of cooking.
Fireball Pizza
--------------
1 Pizza Base (we used to make our own while doing other bakery stuffs)
A good Sweet Chili Sauce
Finely chopped onion
small chopped capsicum (preferably some different colours)
hot salami (optional)
a small handful of beef mince
ham/bacon finely chopped
Rather than the usual pizza style, Chilli sauce is used on the base instead of tomato sauce. then add onion, capsicum, meats (we used to just break the mince into small gobs to spread though on fireballs and make mini meatballs for the meatlovers).
I remember we used to use a mix of tow cheeses on top of everything - I don't remember the names/kinds tho. One turned a nice golden colour when melted in the oven, and the other had a higher melting temp and we sued to blend packets of both into a container before lining up and topping pizzas ready to go in the oven.
Memory is fuzzy but i think its was 200-240 degrees C we used to set the big oven (one that has like 20 shelves that travel around on a pair of chains inside the oven, pushing a button to stop it to empty off a shelf before moving it onto next shelf).
pretty much how this pizza works is the chilli sauce seeps into everything, along with the onion and capsicum flavors and the optional salami to make everything super bity. If you don't like spicy things this is definitely not for you.
