A photoset. Not dialup friendly (you've been warned! ;)

So, I've been working on something I've been calling "the rune project" for awhile now. The concept behind this project was to create images from natural surroundings which reflect the qualities of characters in Elder Futhark.

My intention is for the images to either portray the qualities of specific characters, or have the forms present in the images resemble the characters themselves. If it's not clear to you, I'm more than happy to explain!

Algiz II

Berkana II

Dagaz

Laguz

Pertho

Othala

Nauthiz

Isa

Ingwaz

Eihwaz

This is the third expressly pagan-oriented photo project I've embarked on, though i like to think I shoot everything with the ability to tie them into some form of nature worship or neopaganism. Other projects (like the Nymph and Fae projects) are pretty much NSFW and you probably won't see them here Wink

Comments encouraged!!

Nice!

I know nothing about Runes, but with an MFA in Film, a *good* bit about Art...
I really love your sense of composition and use of contrasts.

What I do on my 'blog is upload Lo-Rez images, saving the 1200 dpi scans....
